Ancient folk culture performances

At the first tourism cultural festival held in northern Anhui's Bozhou
City on Sept. 8th, folk artists staged a parade of ancient folk culture
performances, including stilts, Dabanhui drama (or ghost pantomime, a
dance drama originated during the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1736-1795)
in the Qing Dynasty (1616-1911).

In the first such drama, office runners dressed themselves like ghosts
and captured Qin Hui, a notorious traitor in the Song Dynasty (960-1279),
for trial before the city god.), dragon dance, patrol of the city god,
and pan drum performance (one of the most famous five drum performances
in China). A long row of folk artists gave wonderful and exciting
performances of folk customs and folk arts for tens of thousands of
onlookers.
