Six days before the period of passenger transport for Spring Festival
begins on Jan. 14, Nanjing railway stations and coach stations already
overflowed with passengers. People who work or run a business out of
their hometowns swarmed into the stations in an effort to return home
before the ticket price hike in the period of passenger transport for
Spring Festival, converging with students who will go back home for their
winter vacation. Starting from Jan. 8, Nanjing railways have seen the
peak of passenger flow before the Spring Festival.
